One by one they tied them up, first at their elbows and wrists, then a roped torso lashing their arms into their spines. Blindfolded, they tethered their necks and marched the helpless boys for miles through the woods.
It was a long day and night. They lay like that for 36 hours before the ransoms were paid and they were rescued.
