Jake put his arms behind his back. His wrists and elbows were tied. They duct taped his eyes and mouth and tied his ankles. A chloroform rag was put over his face. His body bucked for a while...
then he collapsed onto the floor.
There's not much you can do with a noose around your neck, your arms tied behind your back head taped up except try to control the fear and hope the ransom would be paid before you choked.
