Quite a while

They found the truck, abandoned in the woods.
There was no sign of the 4 missing young men.
There were cut pieces of rope and discarded duct tape on the ground.
The authorities believe they boys were abducted, bound and gagged!

The tape around Ryan's head pulled at his hair.

The rag down his throat made him want to puke.

There was a thick branch across his back.

His biceps were bound to it.

The rope pinched his muscles.  The blood stopped flowing to his forearms and wrists.

His bound crossed wrists had been pulled up behind his back making his biceps and triceps bulge

in the ropes.

A rope went from around his neck to his wrists.

Pablo's legs were tied up at his thighs, knees and ankles.
His was on his belly.
Long ropes had been tied around his chest and the branch,  The cut into his pectorals.
His legs had been bent back and tied to his wrists.
If he moved much, he would choke.

Jesse, the oldest, was beaten before being bound.
Held by his arms he was gut punched until he collapsed.
It made a good ransom video.
He was tied extra tight. The ropes around his upper arms bound to the branch were drawing blood.

Jason, the youngest, was whimpering.

He was shaking with fright.

His cold sweat saturated his shirt.

He had struggled, and the rope around his neck had tightened.

A constant gagged cough came from his gag.

He forced himself to lie perfectly still.

He pushed his head back as far as he could to take the stress off of his neck.

So the 4 boys lay there, abducted, bound and gagged....

Wondering how long "quite a while" was going to be.
