Learning the Ropes

They were not expecting to be tied up, but they came with rope.  They pulled their arms behind their backs and tied them at the elbows and wrists.

A folded bandanna was tied over their eyes, and a knotted one was put between their teeth to gag them.

These farmboy rookies were going to learn the ropes!

They brought the bound boys to the fence and put their arms behind the top rail.  The sleeves of their shirts were pushed up over their shoulders, and their upper arms were tied to it.  Their shirts were pulled up over their heads, baring there chest and bellies.  Their knees were tied together and tied to the lower rain.

Their boots and socks were removed, and their ankles were tied.

It was hot.  The sun was beaming on them.  Sweat dripped from every pore.

They would be left like that for 24 hours, through the darkness of the cold night, lashed to the fence, unable to escape, learning the ropes.
