The groans of insanity

Hours slowly passed.

Alex could not move.

The ropes on his skin burned.

His legs were cramped.

His neck throbbed with pain down his spine.

He had been silent in his gag.

But he heard a groan.

He thought it came from one of his teammates.

But he heard it again.

And then the shock:  the groans we coming from deep inside of himself!

More hours passed.

By now Steven had ceased fighting the ropes.

He moved his head the few inches he could to reduce the pain in his neck.  He could only get a small glance at his teammates....  wrists, arms and ankles raw with blood.  Then it occurred to him...he just pissed on himself.  He began to groan.

After they had put the twins in the torture position, they put then back to back.  They added roped around their biceps and tied them to each other.  Now 12 hours has passed, and the Twins were panicked.

Eternity had passed when their kidnappers came in.  Ryan was desperate... he felt he was going insane.  There was no sense of time.  

He could hardly hear them say 5 million dollars was paid.  He figured now they would cut him loose from the torture ropes.

But he heard the metal door slam and lock.

And realized they had been left.

Groans of insanity filled the room they were locked in.
